|The North American Institute of Aviation Archaeology (NAIAA) was created in 2007 to provide a source of education and research within the burgeoning field of aviation archaeology; and is registered as a limited liability corporation. With an all-volunteer force of experienced veterans, basic field training programs are offered on a routine basis with research assistance.
NAIAA has been providing educational and training guidance to the Colorado Aviation Historical Society's Aviation Archaeology Program (AvAr).
The 2nd North American Aviation Archaeology Summit was held April 17,18 2010 and formed a multi-national organization called the Aviation Archaeology Historical Association (AAHA).
NEW for 2011 ===>> The 3rd annual NAA Summit will be held April 30-May 1, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada; sponsored by NAIAA and first members of AAHA. The Summit will host av-ar related papers and select the new AAHA officers.
